Drawn by hand for bands, venues, festivals and filmmakers who hate boring.

The wall

Drawn for

Self-portrait of Mădălin drawn as a skeleton in a bucket hat and green hoodie, walking a boxer

Hey there! I’m Mada

Mădălin Nicu on paper, Mădă for everyone else, and the hand behind NOMAD visual lab. I draw bold posters, album covers and film art with a surreal twist, from a small studio in Sibiu, Romania.

Every piece starts as a sketch and ends up on a venue wall, a vinyl sleeve or a feed near you, for bands, venues, festivals and filmmakers across the US, Australia and Europe. The skeleton in the bucket hat is me. The boxer is Joey, my best friend and studio manager.
